Paws for Trello loads for majority of its functionality. I know it's been a while, but I'm the main developer of the app and for anyone still wondering I thought I'd clarify how Paws works and a bit about our privacy. This will list all apps you've allowed and let you decide which ones to keep. To review 3rd party access, you can click your name in the top right of Trello, and then "Settings". But, if you have sensitive data, or if the value that the 3rd party provides is low, then your decision of risk vs value might be different. Often, the risk is worth it- I'll take the chance that IFTTT devs are reading my grocery list because IFTTT provides enough value for me. also), you are making a decision to accept the risk that the 3rd party might do something intentionally or accidentally with the things listed. But, any time you click "Allow" on a prompt like that (Google, Facebook, Twitter, etc. Most likely, they are upstanding devs making a great app. I'm not saying that to scare you or to imply anything negative about the Paws developers or app. Or they could unknowingly store it in, say, log files, etc. Even if they tell you they don't store it, consider a malicious developer wouldn't tell you "yes we're storing it and stealing all your cards". It's not easy to tell if they store anything in their servers. They would have to store the token on your machine for the app to work. Even if the main screen is just a wrapper, other things, like the list of boards on the app icon, notifications, and any other features they add that interact with boards, will require the API, which will require them to send you to this prompt. I can tell you for sure that this app isn't just wrapping the browser version - that dialog is standard when you get a "token" to call the Trello API. I don't use Paws, but am a developer who has used the Trello API.
